For Validator Operators

Quick Points

  • Interstate costs next to nothing to run and generates block rewards that are >= current rewards

  • Interstate runs next to flashbots/mev-boost using the open source commit-boost standard

  • Interstate does not block running other sidecars, in fact we recommend running multiple sidecars using the open source commit-boost standard to maximize rewards per block and further decentralize the network

  • allows validators to generate additional rewards per block on top of MEV-Boost rewards

  • while MEV-Boost provides 0.83% rewards per block, we are targeting a 0.20% per block reward* (in a mix of interstate token and preconf-request tips)

Onboarding Instructions

  • Request access to our validator quickstart repository on github and following the instructions here

  • It is possible to run Interstate network anywhere where flashbots is run including all DVT & Staking/Mining pools

  • Running Interstate requires pointing your MEV-Boost docker image to our custom image
